papermaking, printing and dyeing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, light textiles, foodstuff, and other industries.
iv. packaging
products should be transported in a tankers specifically designed for liquid sodium hydroxide or in storage tanks. containers should not be contaminated and the outer packaging should contain clearly visible product information and an indication that it is "corrosive".
v. storage and transport
tank train cars and tank trucks can be used, and sudden shocks or acid exposure should be avoided.
