the china national chemical information center (cncic) is the national information collecting, compiling, research and consulting services institution of china’s chemical industry. it manages the chemical branch of the national engineering technology library, international exhibition center of china chemical industry, china chemical standardization research institute, research institute of industrial planning, research institute of industrial economics, and national chemical energy saving (emission reduction) center. the cncic established and maintains the “national science and technology achievements network” and “key industry damages early warning database system.”
