northwest rubber & plastics institute wins silver prize of comac for outstanding suppliers 2014
on march 18, 2015, at comac supplier conference 2015, the northwest rubber & plastics institute of chemchina was awarded silver prize for outstanding suppliers 2014. comprehensively evaluating the product quality, services, and delivery time over the past year, comac selected three gold prize winners, seven silver prize winners, and three breakthrough prize winners among all its suppliers.
in 2014, northwest rubber & plastics institute listed the sealing element for domestic large aircraft project as its no. 1 project given its great difficulty and tight schedule. devoting a command team and a project team, the institute made keen efforts in structural design, processes, and material & technical breakthroughs, maintained strict control over the manufacturing process, conducted airworthiness manufacturing compliance check, overcame a number of technical difficulties within a short time through enhanced planning and coordination. all of the 459 products were delivered in batches and categories to corresponding main body manufacturers in a punctual manner, and 6 typical products passed the airworthiness check. all these ensured the structural assembly of airframe 01, winning high recognition from comac.
the supplier conference was attended by representatives from over 100 enterprises.
