on november 8, the five-day 14th dubai airshow was launched. anic, which represents the highest level of china’s aeronautical manufacture, brought many new types of aircrafts. most of the exhibited aircrafts were equipped with tires produced by shuguang rubber industry research & design institute.
in particular, z-19 e armed helicopter, fc-1, z-9 we military helicopter, l-15, jl-9, wing loong uav, y-12 and some other types of aircrafts were equipped with "sanhuan” tire produced by shuguang institute.
dubai airshow, which was firstly held in 1987, is a biennial show, and now has grown into the third largest aircraft exhibition following paris air show and moscow airshow. this year’s show attracted about 1,100 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions.
as a professional enterprise dealing with aircraft tire r&d and production, in recent years, shuguang institute has accelerated the commercialization of national defense scientific research results. by adopting a variety of measures in the civilian use of military aircraft tire techniques, synchronous and integrated development of military and civilian products, it improved the ideas and measures of the military-civilian integrated development of advanced technology and quality products. as a result, the target market of shuguang institute has gone beyond national defense to civilian aircrafts. currently, shuguang institute has made progress in exploring domestic market of general-purpose aircraft tire. while its export of tires on russian-type aircrafts including ilyushin series and su series witnessed a gradual increase, the export of tires on domestic types including fc-1, ft-7, jl-9 and jl-10 also rose.
