(correspondent: chen gang) according to the supervision work plan 2016 of the standing committee of the national people’s congress and in the light of the work arrangements of the standing committee of the people’s congress of sichuan province for law enforcement inspection of the implementation of the environmental protection law, law on prevention and control of atmospheric pollution and regulation on comprehensive improvement of urban & rural environments of sichuan province (hereinafter referred to as “two laws and one regulation”) in the province, on july 7, a law enforcement inspection group led by zhu xinhua, general office director of the standing committee of the people’s congress of sichuan province, as well as the environmental protection expert group of the province, accompanied by chen hua, director of the standing committee of the people’s congress of zigong, as well as leaders of the environmental protection bureau of the city, visited zhonghao chenguang to carry out the law enforcement inspection of the implementation of the “two laws and one regulation”.
the inspection group conducted a thorough investigation, focused on key areas and grasped key points, scaled up law enforcement efforts for environmental supervision, improved the environmental protection work mechanism and took solid steps to promote the implementation of environmental protection laws and regulations, with an aim to raise the awareness of “green development” and environmental awareness.
zhonghao chenguang general manager and party secretary li jia reported the environmental protection work to the inspection group, accompanied by vice general manager chen liyi, deputy party secretary wu yongqiang, assistant to general manager jin yongliang as well as relevant personnel of the security and environmental protection division.
zhu conducted a field survey on the integrated wastewater treatment equipment and the fluoride wastewater treatment equipment of the environmental protection branch and listened to a detailed report on zhonghao chenguang. according to the report, the company made an investment of about rmb12 million in 2007, adopted the technologies of “anaerobic - aerobiotic biochemical treatment” and “treatment of fluorine ion by means of calcium ion settlement method”, and its two sets of equipments for wastewater treatment passed the completion acceptance of the environmental protection department of the province in november 2007. zhu inquired about the method of technical processing, processing capability and effects of the wastewater treatment equipment of the company.
after that, the group walked to the main production wastewater discharge channel on the bank of the tuojiang river. zhu saw that the wastewater in the discharge channel was clear and there was no sign of foam and learned that the wastewater discharge was up to standard, he spoke highly of the environmental protection work of the company and praised that the it adheres to scientific & technological innovations, improves and optimizes technologies as well as reduces pollutant emissions at the source. meanwhile, he hoped that the company continues to strengthen its scientific and technological advantages, channels great efforts into the development of environmental protection technologies and cleaning technologies, develops and applies new technologies, new processes and new products that feature small investment, low consumption, low pollution and high efficiency, reduces consumption of raw materials, realizes minimization, recycling and reutilization of pollutants and turns itself into a company featuring “green production”.
li said that, the work of “two laws and one regulation” has a direct bearing on ecology, people’s livelihood and sustainable development, and the company will, implement the guiding principles of the important speeches of president xi jinping on “green development”, thoroughly learn relevant contents of the “two laws and one regulation”, further enhance the awareness of green development and environmental protection and arouse the people’s enthusiasm, initiative and consciousness for focusing on environmental protection; li said that the company will continue to make great efforts in developing environmental protection equipments, scale up efforts for technical reform and upgrading and take measures for energy conservation and emission under the correct leadership of the party committee and the government of province and the guidance of the provincial and city-level environmental protection authorities, so as to realize resource conservation, environmental friendliness and clean production; he also said that the company will stick to the principle of green, low-carbon and cyclic development, rely on scientific and technological innovations, energetically develop green and circular economy and clean production, so as to achieve coordinated and sustainable development of the company, its employees, environment and society.
